Lake Life = Wake Life
When you live within walking distance of Falls Lake, you are bound to get into some water-related shenanigans. For us, that meant spending a lot of time on a boat. It started with an old beat-up tube a family friend gave us, moved to some cheap water skis, to needing a wakeboard that fits every shoe size, and a surf board for every weight rider.
What started as a simple pastime became a way of life, maybe even an obsession. Two brothers became captain and first mate of a boating operation with the only goal of convincing everyone possible to join them on the boat, and subsequently become the newest promoter of watersports.
Through all of this experience, you learn a little something about what problems need to be solved, and what better way to do it than solving them yourself. Small nuisances like "Why isn't there a better way to transport boards?" combined with design and manufacturing knowledge from a robotics club in high school leads to what you see today: simple, effective products solving common problems facing watersports enthusiasts, from two enthusiasts themselves.

Max
From ripping up instruction manuals of Lego sets as a kid because they weren't necessary, and then winning a statewide Lego competition in school, to building state-champion robots in FTC in high school, to studying engineering in college, Max knows a little something about how things go together. He's in charge of making products that work, and are strong enough that even Eli can't break them.

Eli
Eli always had a knack for computers and a mind for opportunities, the type of kid that read too much (somehow) and couldn't decide what his favorite subject in school was because he liked them all. Despite being a teacher's pet, his tendency to pick up new things quickly became useful when it came time to make a website (and make it look nice), make a business strategy, a marketing plan, and durability testing.
